Software Engineer – User Space

• Summary

Red Hat is looking for an engineer with a strong technical background to work on software engineering for Red Hat Enterprise Linux within the Virtualization team.

The position requires working will all components throughout the Red Hat Virtualization stack, focused primarily on user interface aspects.  The candidate must be capable of working with internal and upstream communities, motivated and a fast learner.

• Requirements

• Relevant university IT degree or equivalent work experience.
• The candidate should have 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Ruby On Rails, and with web 2.0 (AJAX, javascript) development.
• Experience with Python and C are a plus
• Communicative knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
• General virtualization knowledge a plus.
