Intern – Kernel Development Engineering

• Summary

Red Hat is looking for people who can help us with further development of the basic operation system utilities and tests for Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Your C, Python and shell-scripting skills will be developing the next generation of tools for Red Hat Kernel Development. Quality Engineering.

• Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical products and systems
• Develop and execute software programming for Fedora and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained

• Requirements

• Student in an Information Technology related area
• Strong interest in open source software and development
• Advanced knowledge of C, Python and shell scripting
• Advanced knowledge of Linux
• Ability to work as part of a young and dynamic team whilst demonstrating flexibility, autonomy and a desire to make things happen
• A desire to be part of a company that is redefining the entire software industry.
• Minimally basic communicative level of English.
