Linux Software Engineer – Cluster/Storage Mngt

• Main responsibilities:
  • Develop, enhance and support Linux command/utilities related to clustering and cluster filesystems.
  • Develop graphical user interfaces for our cluster and storage systems management tools.
  • The primary responsibility of this position is developing usable management interfaces as well as backend support code that diminish the burden of complexity facing administrators of computing clusters and virtualized storage devices.
  • Position will allow development of relationships and interaction with the clustering community.
• Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • Basic software development practice including requirements gathering, specification planning and writing, and release/deployment.
  • Experience with object oriented design and development is a plus, as is familiarity with event-driven code architecture.
  • Preferred Candidates will have hands-on knowledge of linux development tools such as shell knowledge, command line tools, automake and RPM.
  • Good English language speaking, writing, and reading skills.
